I am a London based painter fascinated with the human body. In my paintings I aim to explore the form, structure and line of each sitter, whilst working with a unique use of colour, composition and poses. My aim is to create paintings, which although are centred around realism, have a life of their own, so that they become a vivid and altered version of the original.
Why Rebecca joined this project
I decided to take part in the Cara Cara project because I think it’s really important that as artist’s we are able to connect with a larger community. I was very excited to see the enthusiasm for all of the children, and when I found out that I’d be drawn 6 times I was very impressed. I think it’s great that we can use our skills and knowledge base to help and interact with a younger generation.
