Karine is interested in the inner – the part of a human being that is invisible; that is concerned with thinking, feeling and perceiving. The invisible is not measurable yet real. She is passionate about perceiving her environment through this part of her. Karine’s work creates a new reality where the lines between imagination, faith, dream and reality become indistinct.
Why Karine joined this project
Bernice told me about her travels to Bolivia and about the children in Sucre that she couldn’t forgot. I was very touched by the story of the children selling magazines to get money to help pay their schooling. They don’t have the chance to have a normal childhood then as they already have to make choices, take decision for them self and work like adults. As I moved to London last summer I decided to join the project “cara a cara” to support them.
